The Secret History of Star Wars
Introduction
Chapter I: The Beginning -- examines how George Lucas grew up inundated with comic books, pulp fiction and b-movies and stumbled into the film industry at a seminal point in American film history, creating a duo of films which led into the creation of a space adventure movie
Chapter II: The Star Wars -- examines how Lucas attempted to adapt Flash Gordon, then remade Akira Kurosawa's Hidden Fortress, and finally invented his own "superhero in space" adventure film, first as a complicated and convoluted comic book action film
Chapter III: Enter Luke Starkiller -- traces how Lucas took his convoluted first draft and struggled for years before he finally arrived at the simplified coming of age odyssey of protagonist Luke Starkiller.

JEDICON 2010 SP
A 11ª JediCon SP comemora os 30 Anos do “Episódio V – O Império Contra-Ataca” com muitas atrações
O evento anual, organizado pelo Conselho Jedi São Paulo, irá comemorar os 30 anos do lançamento do segundo filme da Saga Star Wars à ser produzido, “O Império Contra-Ataca” (1980).
O evento será realizado na FAPCOM, localizada na Rua Major Maragliano, 191 – Vila Mariana (próximo às estações Ana Rosa e Vila Mariana do Metrô – Linha Azul).
O evento tem como objetivo trazer aos fãs da saga Star Wars a possibilidade de reunir-se com outros fãs, amigos e admiradores, em um dia especial com várias atrações: apresentação da Banda Marcial de Cubatão que tocará temas de Guerra das Estrelas; Caetano Cury – ilustrador e autor das tirinhas do Pança e Caverna do Jedi (site Jovem Nerd); apresentação de luta coreografada pelo grupo Blades (Conselho Jedi São Paulo); palestras, fã filmes, vídeos, bate-papo, concurso de cosplays infantil e adulto, stands com memorabílias (exposição e vendas), presença de fã clubes, como Aliança Star Wars, Senhor dos Anéis, Star Trek, Percy Jackson (Olimpianos), vários lançamentos de livros de ficção e fantasia, com seus autores autografando suas obras durante todo o dia e muito mais.
Durante oito horas de evento, os freqüentadores se reportarão ao universo de Star Wars e se depararão na companhia de vários outros fãs Jedi, Sith, Mandalorianos, Stormtroopers, Clonetroopers e muitos outros personagens que circularão aleatoriamente pelo evento, representados por adultos e crianças.
A Jedicon SP consagrou-se como um evento tradicional no calendário dos fãs e, acima de tudo, é uma oportunidade para comemorar décadas de diversão que a saga de Star Wars proporcionou às diversas gerações de fãs. Diversão que, com certeza, se estenderá por muito mais décadas reunindo ainda mais fãs!
O ingresso pode ser adquirido na entrada do evento e tem um custo de R$ 15,00 (Quinze Reais) + a doação de 1 kg de alimento não perecível, que serão entregues à ACEDEM, instituição que cuida de mais de 50 (cinqüenta) pessoas carentes e necessitadas.
